Brian E. Langford

Brian E. Langford graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance, and received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Langford practices primarily in the areas of Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Corporate and Business law.

Mr. Langford is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association. He is also a member of the Real Estate Investment Council (REIC) and the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors (FGCAR).

Mr. Langford is President of Summit Title & Financial Services, Inc., a full service title insurance agency for LandAmerica, Stewart Title Guaranty Company and Chicago Title Insurance Company, which was founded in 1994.

Mr. Langford is admitted to practice before all state courts of the State of Florida, as well as the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida and the Florida Middle District Bankruptcy Court.


Matt C. Myers

An AV rated attorney, Matt C. Myers graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Certificates in Business, and Pre-Business Law, and received his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law, and Master of Laws degree in International Law and Business from Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Myers practices primarily in the areas of Banking, Business, Corporate and Real Estate law.

Mr. Myers is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association (Corporate Counsel, and Real Property Probate and Trust Sections), the American Bar Association and the Florida Bar (Real Property Probate and Trust Law, Business Law, and International Law Sections). He is also a member of the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors (FGCAR) and an agent for Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund, Inc.

Mr. Myers was admitted into the Florida Bar and U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 2000.


Lynn E. Hanshaw

An AV rated attorney Lynn E. Hanshaw graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and received her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. She also has fair housing training from John Marshall Law School, followed by invitation-only HUD training in Baltimore with local re-certifications. Ms. Hanshaw practices in the area of civil litigation and administrative law. Her litigation practice focuses on foreclosures, construction law, condo/HOA, landlord/tenant, Florida Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act violations and fair housing. She handles cases from inception through mediation, litigation, and appeals. Ms. Hanshaw's administrative practice includes social security, unemployment and workers compensation (claimant and defense).

Clients have included: Pinellas County and St. Petersburg Office of Human Rights; Summit Consulting and K&G Construction.

Professional and Civic Activities: Florida Bar; Clearwater Bar; St. Petersburg Bar; Hillsborough County Bar; Former member of: Florida Grievance Committee, Gulfcoast Legal Services Board of Directors, Tri-county Fair Housing Consortium; recipient of the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award.

E.C. Langford (In Memoriam - December 31, 1949 – October 24, 2010)

E. C. Langford graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida with a degree in accounting, and received his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. Mr. Langford practiced primarily in the areas of Business and Corporate law, Banking, Real Property matters, and Commercial litigation.

Mr. Langford was a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney and a Florida Bar Board Certified Business Litigation Attorney. He was a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and was a past master of the Tampa Bay Inn of Court.

Mr. Langford was admitted to practice before all state courts of the State of Florida (1978), as well as the U. S. District Court, Middle District (1978), the U.S. Court of Appeal, Fifth (1979) and Eleventh Circuits (1981), the U.S. Tax Court (1981), and the United States Supreme Court (1997).

He served as Chairman of the Board for The Palm Bank. Additionally, Mr. Langford was President and a director of Market Capital Corporation, a 42 year old SBIC company.
